Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Pilates?
Pilates is a movement method focused on strength, control, alignment, and breathing. It helps improve posture, mobility, and how the body moves in everyday life.

No. While the core plays an important role, Pilates works the whole body, including arms, legs, back, and posture muscles.
3. Is Pilates suitable if I am not flexible?
Yes. Pilates helps improve flexibility over time and does not require you to be flexible to start.
4. Is Pilates low-impact?
Yes. Pilates is a low-impact practice that focuses on controlled movement rather than speed or impact, making it gentle on the joints.
5. How is Pilates different from other workouts?
Pilates focuses on quality of movement, alignment, and control rather than repetition or intensity alone. The goal is to move better, not just move more.
